Exploring Black Sci-fi (Final Project Idea for Digital Cinema 2)

So, as of right now, we are going to be doing an 5-10 short film based on a Black Sci-fi Novel of our choosing. That being said, I’m not much of a reader, well, unless you count sheet music, then yeah I read quite a bit.

One suggestion that has come to mind so far is the book “Sister Mine” written by Nalo Hopkinson. In looking at some articles on the book, the premise intrigues me, the idea of two twins born from supernatural entinites, one inheriting magical powers from their father, reminds me of the Disney movie “Twitches”
